(3 Posts)I have two DS. Ds 16 & DS 14. We pay for phones sports/music lessons and clothes plus school dinners during the acedemic year..
How much would you think is adequate pocket money? We pay for friends b.day present & trips to cinema/discos ect...
I just seem to be robbed at moment. 😂
At 14, mine got £14 per month, at 16, mine got / will get £15 per month.
They pay for their own phones and friends' birthday presents. They pay if they choose to go to the cinema / bowling / etc.
We pay school dinner and subs, music lessons, clothes and toiletries etc.
I gave both of my lads the same amount, when DS1 was 16 and DS2 was 14 they got €15 per week plus I paid for their phone,, clothes, memerships, toiletries and friends birthday presents. It went up to €20 per week when they were 17 and 15.
