How to keep baby asleep in her cot

At the momemt DD needs nursing and rocking to fall asleep and she needs me next to her and a boob to stay asleep, or she needs to be pushed in a pram while outside then she stays asleep ok too. Now I would really love her to fall asleep and stay asleep in her own cot. How do I achieve that? The cot that I have isn't a rocking one. Are there any devices out there to help her? I found some hammocks that can be attached to the crib and the baby can bounce in it. Has anybody used them? Is there anything else? DD is 5.5 months. Thank you!!!
