We've already got a cot for our first baby (due in November) which is in its own room, but we can't decide what to do when it's sleeping in our room.
I'd ideally like something it won't quickly grow out of and a bedside co-sleeper really appeals, especially as I hope to breastfeed. I'm not comfortable with the baby co-sleeping in our bed as I'm such a restless sleeper.
However, we have a ridiculously high bed, it's almost 80cms from the floor to the top of the mattress. The only co-sleeper I've found that comes almost that high is the Knuma Huddle. It's £220 inc mattress. They aren't stocked in any shops near us yet so I'd have to buy without seeing it.
Is it worth it? The cot we have is a cheap-ish ikea one so I don't mind spending the money if it's going to be useful.
On a similar note, do we need a Moses basket for the baby to sleep in downstairs? I'd originally thought it could sleep in the carrycot from the pram but now I'm having wobbles!
