Dp has tested positive. Doesn't have any major symptoms yet and feels fine.
Our house is pretty small, no spare bedroom but Dp did sleep on sofa last night - he is a bit weird and likes sleeping on the sofa anyway as it's new and extremely comfy! I did offer him the bed 😅
We have two dc with sen who don't really understand.
Only on day one and finding it hard to distance from each other.
I'm also a little under the weather, caught something off Dd. Both tested negative on pcr - twice! So atm I'm feeling worse than Dp and I can't do it all on my own! Our kids are very fully on! Preparing that we may get covid on top of it!
But I've heard that a lot of people isolate in their rooms but tbh I just can't see how it would work in this house. Dp isn't overly ill so doesn't want to spend all day in the bedroom doing nothing, he's not the type to do nothing unless he was actually really ill which he isn't. The kids wouldn't leave him alone anyway as they don't understand.
What are we meant to do?!
I am taking precautions. Like no close hugging, extra cleaning, opening doors and windows for ventilation etc. What else can I do?
