Does anyone think this is a bad zombie movie or they will wake up in a sweaty mess and find it was a bad dream?

It's becoming a nightmare really... Words fail me, I shouldn't read the media speculation.

I felt like this a lot in the last year. Like it's such a farce that it has to be a crazy dream and I will wake up soon

Yes, me. Really struggling and am beginning to wonder if it will ever end sad

This feels like it has gone on to long to be a movie. More like the most twisted boring but occasionally worrying daytime series. Very badly written too. You can guess the plot lines before they happen 90% of the time. The network need to axe this series now.

@TruelyonelastSchlep 😂 so true

Or in every horror where you're screaming at the tv 'no , why are you doing that ! Why don't you just do this? Why don't you make sure you've killed it first so it doesn't come back after you !!!!!'

No, but I wonder if the next virus will have a much higher mortality rate. That would make covid-19 seem like a fire drill. I'm scared of that.

It’s a really bad zombie movie because there are no zombies in it.

The ones with covid are the zombies 🧟‍♀️ 🧟‍♂️ 😜 ( lighthearted, ok not being Covid-ist)

Honestly the covid/mask police are the zombies

Imnothereforthedrama Sun 13-Jun-21 12:38:30

Yep never thought I’d see the day when grown adults arguing about wearing a mask / going to the shop for milk isn’t essential and demanding schools shut . I like to think it’s just highlighted the nutters and peoples anxiety. I’m more fearful of peoples mental health more than Covid atm .

DH is always shouting “shoot it on the head! You won’t know it’s dead unless you shoot it in the head” grin

This year is the slow season two, where the series has lost its way a bit.

We need to get The Rock to star in this season. He'll sort everything out.

Oh wonderful ideastar

Maybe as new PM. Just seen a photo of ours running into the sea this morning
for a swim. Would definitely have preferred to see the Dwayne Johnson grin

Struggling today I literally can't see it ending convinces it won't

RhubarbTea Sun 13-Jun-21 18:58:43

It does seem pretty interminable at this point. I've had a weird dread since the start of this that it would be something like 5+ years before it receded to any level of normality, I don't want that to be the case but some days I just cannot see how this is ever going to end, it's like a merry-go-round we can't step off.

flowers to anyone who is fed up today.

JesusInTheCabbageVan Sun 13-Jun-21 20:05:41

Boris is the living embodiment of that one character who runs up the stairs instead of making her escape out the front door.

TeaandSunshine Sun 13-Jun-21 23:26:37

It can feel very surreal at times.

I remember wailing to DH at the start of all this "I like watching disaster movies, I don't want to live in one"

Zombie killing would at least get you out the house grin
