Yes. I really, really want 21st June open ending. I hope everyone does the testing so we at least stand a chance of reopening.

Nope...unless I get some symptoms

They aren't for symptoms.

I do them for work anyway.

I'll take a covid test only if I have symptoms.

I’m only doing them because I’m pregnant and obviously the health professionals I’m coming into contact with also be having contact with many other pregnant women.

If it wasn’t for that, I probably wouldn’t but we both work from home, have no children and live in a low case area.

All those saying 'Nope' I hope the same names don't appear giving off about the road map being postponed or even rolled back and their freedoms being snatched away Hmm

Nope, this money could be far, far better spent elsewhere.

Ah yeah because testing will stop that happening. I'm sure all the positives that come from it will have far more effect on a further lockdown.

I'm not sure it's a good idea. Aren't they really inaccurate? They can give false positives - and even more dangerously, false negatives.

We already are.

No. Since I'm house bound and don't see anyone apart from DP (and he is working from home) I don't see the need for it.

Yes, I want to do my part in helping minimise transmission while starting to do things I enjoy. It takes no time at all (if you don't bother registering each negative test which is a stupid faff)

No, I don't want to increase my contribution to landfill waste.

Spikeyball · 14/05/2021 18:30

Ds has them at school and I don't see anyone outside my household and won't be doing indoor dining out etc so not much point.

jumpbounce · 14/05/2021 18:30

Well there would be much less positives if they were detected and the people self isolated then in general there would be far less positives than just ignoring it and carrying on spreading it to far more people. LFT don't catch every positive but even a small percentage of people who wouldn't have otherwise known they were postive, self isolating them will have an impact on overall positives.

No
I’ve got antibodies from when I had covid, I’ve been jabbed

The chances of me having it are so small, and the tests are so inaccurate, it can’t justify the cost of the tests

Well it will make use of the 13 unused test kits DD has on her bedside table.

We already are, daughter for school, husband for work, me because I can.
It's hardly onerous and the data must be useful.
