I’m sure I will be at the end of the vaccination list as I have zero health issues and haven’t seen a doctor in years and I’m under 40.

I just want some freedom , if all the people with conditions etc are vaccinated by April or earlier then let’s get out and live.

Why should the perfectly fit and able be punished more
We are already being shunted to bottom of vaccination list , let us have our Spring and enjoy the nice weather and see friends and family.

I don’t mind a bit of social distancing in public but otherwise let’s get on with life.

Presumably if you're not getting the vaccine for a while you aren't in a vulnerable group. So the chances of you catching it abs becoming seriously ill are minute.

If you are this anxious you should speak to your GP.

I found out last month I am considered CV and I’m still not too concerned. My kids are 6 and nearly 3, I can’t wait for them to have play dates again and go to soft play (they’ve been in school in kw places) etc etc when it’s allowed

Not really. I'd prefer to avoid Covid. I'd prefer to avoid flu every year too but don't lie awake at night worrying about it. I'll avoid anyone who has Covid and try and live within the law, but otherwise am looking forward to the opening up.

I am scared shitless tbh. Fucking terrified. DH is a teacher late 40’s with underlying health stuff but no vaccine for a while according to gp as they are running behind. I am also a similar age, not the fittest, confirmed as group 6 but also no vaccine for a while from gp and the nhs online booking says not eligible yet.

I am literally shaking with the jitters as I wfh. There doesn’t seem to be any option except getting some tranquillisers or something. All because our area is a bit slow on rolling out the vaccine compared to some other hubs.

No. It's no different to how things were last year. Just continue to socially distance, wash hands and wear a mask.

I'm worried in that I don't want to get it, because I don't want to be feeling grim and having to look after my toddlers and babies and school age kids without outside help. I'm not particularly worried that I'll die, though of course there's a tiny chance I could, and I'm not going to say I'm immortal. I'd hope I wouldn't get it badly enough to need hospitalization, as that would also be annoying with childcare and a breastfeed infant. Slightly worried about long covid, or it dragging on if I did get it.

So yeah, I kinda view the relaxation of rules as making it harder for those of us who won't see a vaccine till sooner to avoid getting covid in the meantime.

My personal situation hasn't changed, and I've spent a year trying not to get it, though I'm obviously happier now that I'm unlikely to "kill granny" if I did get it and pass it on.

But someone categorised as vulnerable will have had the vaccine by the time rules are actually relaxed. And the majority of protection comes from the first jab.

Very much postcode lottery as usual. Both BIL(40s) and I(late 20s)in group 6 have had our jabs yesterday. We are in London.
I hope the vast majority in group 6 is vaccinated by the time rules are actually relaxed..

I’m not worried about resuming normal life or catching it

I am worried about this supposed vaccine passport; the young and healthy surely must make up a large % of the population. It would be ridiculous to establish such a system whilst a large group of people haven’t been offered the vaccine. We can’t even privately access the vaccine.

I'm worried. Lone working parent, 46, post menopausal, minor heart condition, have a flu jab and am ridiculously healthy so I don't usually get ill. No family support nearby.
I can't get ill as I have a challenging DC to deal with.

No, not worried. Never have been really apart from at the start when we weren’t sure what we were dealing with. But thankfully it doesn’t affect children & I’m 30 with very mild asthma so not a concern. DD’s have continued to attend nursery since June. I’ve had covid, I’ve had worse colds. I’d rather not get in again as being ill wound young kids is hard but I won’t wait until the vaccine to start living again. Roll on April/May!

And have people completely missed the recent data that shows an 80% decrease in hospitalisations after one dose?! That’s incredible. And cuts transmission by 2/3. Also incredible. The second dose is a nice booster but we really don’t need to panic that people haven’t had the second shot yet!
