@AuntieStella totally agree, nothing has changed for teachers safety since home learning so I can’t see the NEU rolling over on a quick turnaround

If this is the case it would seem odd not to include reception, as it would otherwise be the same as the June year groups, and reception is very hard to replicate at home

I think it will be about linking the reopening to the scientific evidence e.g. reopen x if hospital admissions/vaccination numbers reach x. It is too early for any firm dates but he is being pushed to at least have a plan for reopening.

That was the type of scenario I would anticipate based on talk of a "roadmap".

It would be crass and reckless to just try and reopen when deaths and hospital pressure are both so high. Especially given how things went when they tried to forge ahead with that type of plan previously.
