How do I work this?

Ds 6 and dd 15 are self isolating due to cases in their classes..
We have an energetic dpuppy who without her morning hour walk (already late and she is doing my head in) will be tearing the house up..
Dd is working online doing a class with teacher and other pupils. Ds won't get his work until tomorrow.. I need to go to work at 1. Dd will be multi tasking for 3 hours then. So do I take ddog out with ds knowing 99 % we won't see anyone on the walk. Or leave him the extra hour with dd. Got this for 2 weeks...
Head battered already.
Happy to hear iabu to consider taking ds out.

YABU. Your DS is in isolation so no he cannot go out at all.

Just take the dog out yourself. Can’t the 15yr old look after the 6 yr old for half hour?

In our area there are local volunteer groups organised to help with certain jobs. Dog walking has been specifically listed as one of the essential tasks volunteers will complete. Do you have any local Facebook or WhatsApp groups you could use to ask for help?

That's fine.
Now I can organise a new routine. A fortnight of hell!!. Sympathy to all in a similar boat.

YABU. What part of going out for a walk in public do you see as self-isolating? Leave your DS at home and take the dog for a walk yourself if you are sure you won't bump into anyone. Personally, and this is assuming you have a garden which you may not, I would spend more time playing in the garden with the dog for the next 2 weeks.

No decent outdoor space. Ddog is just starting off lead at full size now. Have cut work hours for 2 weeks and will go out soon. Ds has organised play dough for him and dd! She will be thrilled I am sure (not!)..
