Christmas ideas other than having people round

We aren't making plans until we know what the restrictions are but I wondered if anyone had any ideas of alternative get together for Christmas. We would usually have both sides of the family round on Christmas day and Boxing day but there's a lot of them!
I wondered about a nice wintry walk at national trusts etc but wondered if anyone had any other ideas please?

DF is a priest so we spent the morning at church, but in the afternoons I remember winter walks or trips to the park, films, playing with new toys, and family board games.

We normally spend Christmas with the in laws now, but they live abroad so that definitely won't be happening this year. We're planning a Zoom call with family, and maybe using something like Teleparty for the cousins to watch a film together. We might go out for Christmas lunch if places are open, as cooking a whole Christmas dinner for only two adults seems a bit much.

The first sentence of my post seems to have disappeared Confused

It should have started by saying my family never saw relatives on Christmas day when I was a child.
