Covid

Pretty sure I'll not even notice a difference when lockdown starts

Haven't been out anyway for ages, I only get my hair trimmed every 6 months, I colour my hair myself, guess I'll miss having my pedicures done... but that's it! I have a toddler and we go to two parks a day and have done for months, no soft play or toddler groups etc.

Anyone else?

(Frivolous thread because I know it's an absolute shit storm for a lot of people).

Yes us too. We haven’t been back to restaurants, pubs or shops at all since last lock down. We just do outside spaces and all our meals at home.

It's a shame but it's amazing what we get used to isn't it

Yeah pretty much the same here, have done a few days out at zoos and nature reserves in the summer holidays and a few meals (i think 3 since march) out at quiet times and outside only, but they have been curtailed by the weather .
Pretty much lived by the "just because they say we can, doesn't mean i feel I should".

but like you say, am aware its an absolute shit show for some and for those Flowers
I normally go proper christmas shopping this time of year, where i treat myself to a lovely day out (don't really do treats for me or that kind of shopping normally!). I am sad I am missing that, but in the scheme of things, it will be ok!!

Same here, husband and I only go out to walk dog and bits of shopping, have a weekly delivery. DS1 will continue to work in office as its easier for him to be there and DS2 works in manufacturing so will continue going in. My brother is in our bubble, so we can continue seeing him weekly still.
