I've heard some corker of claims about covid just wondered what everyone else has heard.
*I've had the flu jab will infect you with covid
*the covid vaccine will insert a chip in you to track your whereabouts,
*No one is dying its all made up by the government

  • covid was started by 5G masts

    Anyone else any offerings?

Lockdown in March was so they could replace the batteries in the pigeons
The government has put best interests at heart, and knows what they're doing.

Actually, I think 'lighthearted about covid' is pretty insensitive right now

My crazy MIL tried to tell me that if you have a hot drink every 20-30 minutes it washes any covid particles out of your throat so you won’t get it...

Trump's advice about drinking bleach to cure Covid has to be up there with the best.

Yeah. Thanks 3Littlewords,
I'm more at the point of crying. Having spent last week calculating redundancy payments and preparing P45s, I don't really think there's much to laugh about to be honest.

Once we have a vaccine everybody has to have it within 5 years. If you refuse you can be sold as a slave. From a very bonkers “the royal family are reptiles” site.

All those who come out with ‘yes, me and my husband had Covid early last year’

Always seemingly sane folk who drop it into a general conversation. It’s a conversation curtailer at least...

That it doesn’t exist. It’s just the same as a cold. That Covid is a lie made up as a smoke screen so we forget about Brexit.

That false positives are very common, as high as 96% of all positives apparently! That Covid is just being written on the death certificates of people no matter what they die from....

I could go on. If any of the people spreading this bullshit would like to swap jobs with me for a week....

@Mydogdoesntlisten i also have been told redundancy is likely (probable) in the coming months. I guess we all just deal with things differently, I'm not trying to offend anyone

That the government are trying their best. Trying their best at what?

That the “poor” aren’t feeding their kids and instead are buying crack and flat screen TVs with their two thirds drop on an already inadequate income.

Sorry, not so lighthearted.

I love the pigeon one , it's been my favourite all along Grin

Dp mother did briefly believe the one about the vaccine implanting a tracking device but I think we managed to science that one out of her.

I darent mention 5 g to her , it would not end well

I don't often say this but if anyone followed trumps "advice" on bleach that is pretty much darwinism in action. I pretty much have the rule that if trump thinks it is a good idea , i run as far as possible in the other direction.

Boris cones out with a lot of absolute shite - granted. But name one thing he's said that's madder than 'drink bleach, everyone needs to drink bleach, I mean that kills everything right'

Or frankly 10 other absolutely batshit statements.
