Are public toilets going to shut again?

This was a big issue for me last time with lockdown. I have a health issue that means when I have to go I have to go. It's caused me a lot of anxiety and has almost become a fixation for me to know where the nearest toilets are.

Do we think they will all shut again now? I know there's nowhere really to go now the shops are shutting again but even so.

I would have thought so. Councils won't need much encouragement. They'll be so disappointed that they have to leave play parks open this time (and not block off car parks to beauty spots).

in our store they have.....toilets are shared

this is because the 90 staff should not be expected to share with public as we have a duty to provide safe, clean facilities to staff before customers

Oh, I hope not. I didn't spot how much of an issue this is for me until they closed last time Confused

Some still haven't bloody opened.

A set that I often used mid-run are only open for the Sunday League football, then closed again. Not sure how that's vastly more Covid-friendly than popping in there on a Wednesday lunchtime when it's quiet...

Because peeing in a bush is so much better for public health and hygiene...

It'll be back to supermarket shopping only for me then. At least they have toilets. Although queuing up to get in the supermarket sometimes poses a problem. Honestly if you haven't suffered with this issue then you don't reload how much of a problem it is :(
