Can inlaws still collect dsc as the in formal childcare

Dsc comes weekends. Inlaws collect and drop to here and return.
During the original lockdown, I did the collecting and returning (dh can't as his ex causes too many issues and he's been advised not to by solicitors and police for his own sake)

I've seen it said can bubble with another household for informal childcare ( is that in addition to support bubble?) as if so they would be the informal childcare for that and when we work anyway.

We are my DF support bubble as he's a single person. But isn't our childcare as he works.
So can inlaws be the informal childcare? Meaning they can also collect dsc. If not if have to but honestly it's best all round if they can because his ex causes so many issues and calls police over the craziest of things ( which all get dropped as its nuts) so none of us need that tbh
