Can’t see anything about it, just that we can exercise outside.

Anyone know?

Well Boris said all leisure to shut so I would say no gyms. But it was quite quickly so will need to read up later.

I'd also like to know about swimming lessons and parks.

Gyms are closing. It's all on sky news website.

@Crunchymum sky news is reporting that playgrounds will stay open (which is going to be my only source of sanity it seems).

Although annoyingly we can only meet outside with ONE other person, which means us mums of young cant meet anyone else as we cant bring the kids.

Bit niche but anyone know about golf? In Scotland they kept courses open but I'm not sure I have high hopes for England.

It’s ridiculous. How many cases of Covid have been linked to gyms? Being healthy and reducing obesity are really important in fighting off the virus, but let’s close gyms and swimming pools (despite chlorine killing the virus)

Golf courses were shut in Scotland during original lockdown.

I'd like to know if dentists/orthodonists will stay open this time. I assume so now they are covid safe?

Sorry meant with Scotland's most recent restrictions. Will England follow suit?

I wonder about fishing? Miserable bastards don’t go near each other anyways.

(Dh hobby, hoping he can still bugger off every week!) 😂

Hopefully they will stay open as outside recreation is encouraged. I hope there will be none of the closing car parks nonsense this time. The Sky news article said that exercise outside was unlimited.

Fishing is outdoor recreation, it should be fine.

I’m hoping National Trust outdoor spaces and Forestry stay open. Dog walking (and wine) are my only hopes of holding onto any shred of sanity.

I'm wondering about places like NT and forestry too. We go for a family walk on a sunday morning to places of interest.

Also driving lessons. DH has just started learning again, but I'm assuming not for the driving

I suppose the issue with national trust type places is that if its anything like last time you're not meant to go out, other than for work or shopping. Exercise was meant to be reasonably local. You didn't see cars on the road.
