Start using Mumsnet PremiumNhs app legal isolate?
(2 Posts)According to this article from the BBC published in Sept, it is punishable by £1000 fine.
Personally, I am not sure how they can expect people to follow it without financial support. I know a few households with only one adult working, whom would be unpaid for isolation (or on SSP which they cannot afford to live on), however, they usually earn just over the threshold of support so no bonus payment for them. It is a bad system.

Is it legal to isolate if the app tells you to?
I thought it wasn't but I can't see any information on it.
I'd heard matt Hancock say it on the news when it first came out.
