This petition to Parliament gained over 100,000 signatures and is being heard on Monday 2nd November.

It may be that some people on here have a particular opinion on this Grin.

I have already written to my MP and will be writing to them again.

I am flagging it up just in case anyone else might want to contact their GP on this matter before Monday.

Here is a link that might be helpful if you want to email your MP.

I really hope that some common sense is applied and that this gets passed for ECV families.

Surely they will have to agree to this now, now a second lockdown is looming Confused

I really think that this should be the way forward. Some children need to be in school, others will do fine at home if that is what their parents want. Less children in classrooms, safer for everyone surely.

I'm an education welfare officer. I don't think people need to be so anxious about this. I highly doubt we will be prosecuting anyone at the moment. Prosecution relies on a lot of strong evidence that holds up to the "reasonable" principles of our criminal justice system. That's really blurred by all the issues with Covid.
