I am on day 13 since symptoms started.

First few days head cold, blocked nose, runny nose, sneezing, headaches, achey legs, lack of smell

Thought it was just a cold at first until the snotty symptoms cleared up and left me with no smell and general fatigue and weakness.

I tested positive on Monday, which was day 11 of symptoms.

I now feel so weak, like its an effort to walk into kitchen and make a drink.

Arms and legs feel sore and shakey.

Completely stripped of energy.

Im trying to keep calm as Im very grateful that my breathing hasnt been effected but Im worrying that Im feeling worse not better.

Anyone else?

cherrytreeblossom, I don't come on here much anymore but I am a covid longhauler. I am much better now (it has been 7 months) but still have lingering fatigue. If i could have given myself one piece of advice back in the early weeks it would be to REST REST REST and even when feeling even slightly better still to rest. This illness is a bastard and lots of people seem to feel better only to get worse / relapse etc whatever you want to call it as soon as they start doing stuff again.

Take care and hopefully you will be one of the many that feel better are a couple of weeks!

Yes I gave it now. Tested positive 20 days ago. Breathing and o2 levels fine but sleeping all the time, need a nap mid afternoon, look fine but feel ridiculously feeble. No sense of smell at all as well.

Thanks guys , a few days ago I was thinking I was getting over it and would be right as rain in no time - then the last couple of days I have just crashed into this awful exhaustion / fatigue

I'm resting completely, don't have the energy for anything else

We were all fine until at least day 8. It was after day 10 when we could have gone out that we felt rough. My DD (adult) had almost no symptoms but then was dizzy and tired on day 15.

I suffered really badly with these peaks and troughs, feeling better and then suddenly just crashing. I believe it's normal, and as others have said, make sure you rest even through the good days.

I'm 3 weeks on from my symptoms starting and definitely back to some sort of normality, but my energy levels are still on the floor and I feel like generally my body has aged about 10 years with all the aches and pains I now have constantly!
