Local lockdowns and children's sporting activities

In Wales we have been placed on local lockdown despite our numbers for our county being lower than the trigger at that particular point.

My daughter does elite gymnastics and at the moment we have the situation where her gymnastics team is in another county as we live right by the border!
Even though her club have been fantastic in having a drop off zone for kids outside and then parents wait in cars.
We are now in the situation where half her team are allowed to train and the other half cannot!
The club have asked for support for the drop in income but have been told they can't have any as they are allowed to be open!

There is one club in Rhondda Cynon Taff where out of 500 members only 80 can legally attend as straddles the border.

It is insane that I can go to the pub but my child cannot carry on with her training.
She all ready had months off and was just getting back into the swing of things.
The club was being really proactive in ensuring all the gymnasts were on their own mats and brought their own chalk etc.

Is anyone else in a similar situation!

Petition: Allow children to enter lockdown areas to continue to train with their existing sports clubs.
