Covid or stupid, which kills more?
Vietnam, population 96 million people. 35 Covid deaths.
Thailand, population 66 million people. 59 Covid deaths.
While we argue over whether the virus is real, whether masks work or children can spread the virus, they did what they needed to do and they did it quickly. Now their societies are open again and their economies functioning more or less as normal, safely. No mad hatters urging them to run the gauntlet of disease in order to keep their jobs.
So, looking at the performances of other countries, what’s more deadly, Covid or stupid?
