Not at the moment, if she tests positive, depending on when they saw each other, yes then you need to isolate.

How did you see her? Was it outside with 2m distancing? Or inside no social distancing? This would make a big difference.

If she has symptoms you may but only if closer than 2m for 15 mins and within time frame before

If she gets symptoms in like a week or so then no (not sure how long but I think you and her have to have been in contact within 48 hours of her symptoms)

She says for the last two weeks she's had a fuzzy head and a sore throat which comes and goes.
I wish she told me that before I met up with her.

I hope she’s had or has booked a test. She should have told you about the sore throat. That was my second symptom after an unsettled tummy.

She has to isolate anyway (even if negative) as a contact so doesn’t need to test

She shouldn't have booked a test in the absence of the 3 main symptoms, but if it comes back positive you need to isolate for 14 days. She MUST remain in isolation for 14 days whatever the result of the test.

She doesn't need a test unless she has one of the 3 symptoms - a sore throat is not one of them.

She is likely classed as a close contact so should isolate.

You don't need to do anything right now.

The virus doesn't care about why you are out of the house, so unless you want to be grieving for other family members as well as your mum, if your friend tests positive you will have to miss your mums funeral.
I realise that it will be a completely horrible situation to be in but unfortunately in the current circumstances it is least bad of the terrible options.

your friend isolates for 14 days. If she gets any of the 3 symptoms she takes a test. You dont need to do anything unless she gets symptoms and needs a test

Sorry to hear about your mum but genuinely in real world no one would miss their mums funeral ‘just in case’ they have covid - diff if diagnosed

Likely your friend infected her bf and so, when you were in close contact with her, she'd no longer be infectious. Had you been in close contact with her prior to this? You might be asymptomatic.

@Statistical - OP is going to a funeral in 4 days. It won't be outdoors the while time and will be difficult to maintain distance. If you were an elderly person attending that funeral, wouldn't you rather she got a test tomorrow?
If 1 in approximately 1700 have Covid, and the OP has been in clise, extended proximity with one of them, she's exactly they type of person who should get a test.
