Just interested in what people think,
at what point do you think schools/ local authority will let you take a child out if you feel its necessary without a fine? I work in a school and two days in and already teachers are loosening guidance. I'm a rule follower Grin and I hate it that people are thinking it will be ok. We are in a low numbers area so its not really shown its worst here.

I have no idea. They shouldn't be threatening people with this in the first place. As a disabled person it literally makes me feel sick that I've been put in this position.

It's so wrong. Especially to fine vulnerable parents because they are scared for their health. Did they ask the virus to be vulnerable?

Heads really don’t want to impose fines on worries parents. This fines thing has come from Gavin Williamson not schools.

I wouldn't pay it & I'd take it as far as necessary.

This pandemic is not over & I would not be threatened & bullied into sending my children to school if I felt it wasn't the right thing to do.

I’m deregistering my ds today. I’ve pleaded with the LA and Head. Everyone says it’s ‘safe’ but we are in the worst area in the UK for Coronavirus and it’s high risk. I’m vulnerable and have elderly relatives at home. It’s heartbreaking for us all but we are to be fined and prosecuted if we keep ds out even as a temporary measure.

If we were in a lower risk area we would probably be more willing to take the risk. It’s very sad for my ds.
