How do you register the test card??

Have finally managed to get a Coronavirus test done and have bee given a scrappy, badly photocopied sheet of paper saying I need register the barcode within 24 hours and fill in the form or no result. Fair enough, EXCEPT the link given doesn't go to a form online just a general info page 9n how to get a test and there's nothing coming up from a search either. I've been on hold now to the number given for over 2 and a half hours so if anyone has any idea what to do please share!

Which test is it? Randox is here: randoxcovid.azurefd.net/urnRegistration.

Cancel that, looks like this is the link for all home test kits, click the long green button to start going through the form:
test-for-coronavirus.service.gov.uk/register-home-test

Try it @Tinyleaf, it's not for booking your test to be picked up.

The second link quite clearly says it is to send results back to you.

Thank you @MRex but it's not a home test it was a pre booked drive through one so the link isn't the right one. Than k you for posting it though.

Without sounding like a dog with a bone and purely trying to help, have you tried that link? I only ask as you may find it is all a centralised system.

Yes I have and I it gives routes to test booking, requesting and returning home testing kits (both kinds), testing in care homes - basically everything except what I need

I've been to a drive through testing centre and was given a test receipt card with a barcode on it but they didn't say anything about registering? I booked my test online and gave my phone number and email address at the time and then at the test they said I'd get a text and email with the result. How did you book your test?

If you didn't register before call 119 and go through the options and they take your details. I've just done it this afternoon.

Yes thus was nothing like the A6 official card just a scrappy piece of cur and pasted copy. Did it over the phone in the end but unnecessarily stressful

We called 119 & prebooked. Got a QRcode which the test Center scanned & linked with the bar code on the test pack. We just did the test, no registration. Are you sure you even need to do this? Didn't you get the QR?

Ffs, don't know how many times I have to say the same thing. It wasn't like the previous method of book, get a text/email with a QR code, rock up, show ID etc. This was a pop up, 4 people on the whole of the site, with a scrappy photocopy not the A6 green, black and white card with barcode. No ID needed to be shown, no need to shiw the pre booking confirmation, no option to self test and a link that didn't work. And a very clear statement that no registration within 24 hours equals no results.Hmm

I think we might be struggling because you haven't given crucial details. So now it's a pop-up. Is it army? Can you block the code and show your photocopy?

I had the same issue on Tuesday-booked my daughter online for a drive through test ,turned up and they offered me one as well. Then they said I had until Midnight to register the barcode online....but where? You are right -I searched and searched! Ended up calling 119 and they registered it for me . Xx

I have had exactly the same problem.
Walking passed a test centre and was told I could have a 'walk in test.<br /> Given the card with bar code. Register within 24hrs instructions.<br /> Followed all sorts of links none of which work.<br /> The last post from Angeltera01 is just a useless link to a page with 'a problem. click Go to the Start and eventually it tells me I do not qualify for a test.

I can't see no link to register your test card (confused) on the gov.com There's links for home testing not for if you tested your self in field test

Did they read the barcode at the centre? I had this too but the centre had already registered me. It's not very clear!

Hmmm.

Just read your update so it may not be the same. I had a different form and showed ID. But I still had that threatening 24 hr message thing on it.
