Has anyone who has had confirmed covid just had a temperature? I know it is one of the main symptoms but I can't find much about some people experiencing that as the only symptom. I've had a test and waiting for the results and am obviously hoping that it isn't!

No body aches, no cough, just an occasional high temp and a headache.

The problem with Covid is symptoms can be all, one or none. We as a family all had a totally different illness.

@Kitcat122 I guess if I'm going to get it and this is how it is presenting itself, I've got off lightly!

My cousin had confirmed with just fever and tickly throat,no cough. That was back in april/may (whenever tests for NHS staff were first available) he was better before his test results came back. He picked it up at work in the hospital.

I think the problem with Covid is that most people 'get off lightly' with minor symptoms don't bother getting tested go about their business as we always have with colds, then pass it on to one of the unlucky minority who get a serious case.

I can actually see this getting worse in terms of numbers, I worry that the more people test and confirm a mild case the more it will be seen as mild illness as there will be more people know someone who had it, was in bed a few days and better.
So people will stop testing and isolating, and the number of "1 in however many" serious cases and deaths will increase starting this whole sorry cycle again.
