Nothing much different here. I did go into my first local shop to buy a birthday gift for my dsis. It felt very strange to be in a shop.
Other than that I went to the supermarket and did my Saturday chores at home.

Same as any other day tbh. Went for a walk with dd, kept social distancing from others, and otherwise stayed at home. I think the people rushing out to pubs etc are crazy!

Saw my sister and her family. Was nice knowing that if it rained we could still spend time together indoors.

Stayed at home. DS even trimmed my hair in the garden.

We went for a walk at the beach and ended up having a meal in a restaurant there, completely unplanned. It was very well organised and spaced out, felt like a little bit of normal

Got my hair done early this morning, went to Asda for pizza which I’m now enjoying whilst watching the Rock on the Titan games on TV. Rock and roll lifestyle over here!!

Went to chemist to get a prescription, got some bits from the poundshop, went to my parents for an hour or two, back home and just had a frozen pizza & salad. 3yo & 1yo here so no pubs today, might do next Friday when the kids are at my parents for ‘nana & grandad fridays’ 😁

We are shielding. It was raining. Same old. We did get a delivery of bread from the guy at the local market, which is great as last week I had to top up the weekly supermarket delivery by making a loaf and some banana muffins. We did try a no churn stem ginger ice cream recipe which we'll probably have for pudding tonight.

No different for me.
I’ve only seen one person on FB gone to pub today and a couple have been to the hairdressers. Apart from that it’s same as usual.

Went to the garden centre with my mum, watched Frozen 2 with the kids, planted the flowers I bought.

Ate too much ice cream, now watching Marvels Cival War with DH with a couple of glasses of wine.

DH is working all weekend so no point planning to do much tbh

I will be waiting to see if all the ‘pubs will be busier than New Year’s Eve’ actually happens.
I think a lot of people are still being very cautious.

Really pleased to see how much the locals have come out to support local businesses. Social distanced but Local pubs and restaurants have Attracted custom which I am really pleased about! We had a pint in a local bear garden was lovely!

Appointment at the hairdressers this morning and got my roots done at long bloody last - can now look in the mirror and not be quite so horrified! Had pizza from pop up caterer at local cricket club and the club bar was open so you could sit outside and have a drink and chat to others - felt safe and almost normal if not a bit cold and windy!

Dp went for a drink at the local cricket club and ds is working for the first night since lockdown at the local restaurant.
Such a funny time. We have had take outs regularly from local restaurants throughout lockdown to try and support them.
Think we will book a meal in the next couple of weeks. I wonder if it will get gradually busier as people see how it goes.

@starrynight19 - I worked in a pub today - they aren’t busier & I was sent home early from my evening shift (I cook ). Lunchtime was v busy but the evening was dead for food .
It was horribly mentally exhausting at lunchtime & even my boss admitted he woke up feeling sick this morning in trepidation.
There is so much more work for the staff it’s pretty unbelievable & when you have to deal with customers not understanding why their food will take 5 minutes longer than usual 😡.
The designated waiter/waitresses are shattered due to the one way systems /no condiments/sanitising salt & pepper pots etc. It’s been a very hard day.

Dh was back to work today so was back to normal, just ds and I at home. Was the same as it was before it all started, us at home all day, dh at work. He left at 8am and should be home between 10-11pm (his work has reduced opening hours at the moment).

Went and had a skin test done at the hairdressers as they make you have them done every 3 months if you’ve not been in.... that’s in preparation for my actual appointment next week! Popped in to a couple of shops while I was in town, it was early so it was all pretty quiet. I only saw one pub that was open, it had people in it but looked fairly calm. Big queues for barbers everywhere!!
Tomorrow we are going for dinner which I’m very excited about as I’m really over cooking!!!

Drove an hour and a half to meet my mum halfway between where we both live, went out for breakfast, then a wander round the shops and then for a coffee. It was lovely.

My day was the same as usual: went for a walk, did some jobs around the house, did some baking.

However, DS played out and went to his best friend's house for the first time since March, and DD got to go on a swing when we went on our walk, so they are both happy.
