I know that we were having updates and reviews every 3 weeks and then that was changed to 28 days. Will we still continue to have these reviews every 28 days where changes are announced?

The 3 step plan covered most of what has been eased now but the plan doesn't cover any further stages. So what does that mean in 4 weeks time? Are we having a phase 4? Or just a further easing of restrictions?

Or will we get a new document with the plan?!

Who knows? I feel like they abandoned us on Tuesday! Just said this is it, we’re releasing lots more measures as of 4/7 and we’ll see you when there’s anything to report. I feel they should have said we’ll be back in 4 weeks unless there’s any updates in the meantime.

Yes that's how it feels!

It’s not even headline news now! I appreciate beaches packed are taking over and some of the issues police are dealing with in certain areas of the country but it’s as though it’s been swept under the carpet to a certain extent. Be interesting what effect opening everything up in such quick succession will have.

Agree. I hadn't realised the review cycle was now four weeks.
But also don't they usually confirm the loosening of the measures the Thursday before it's due to happen - ie the changes for the fourth should have their 'last minute' approval this Thursday? I don't think that's going to happen, they were announced last week and are happening come what may.

I read something about how Boris Johnson told staff in Downing Street that he wanted to move on from Covid now. As though it were that simple. I can well believe he is bored of it now, apparently he has a very short attention span.

That is absolutely what it feels like. I feel completely the same, sick of the measures, sick of it being on the news, sick of the impact it's having on all the lives of those who aren't directly affected.
That boredom is probably a very good reason to not make me PM!

I'm sick of it too. I do understand how dangerous it is for the at risk groups, but we cannot suspend normal life forever
