Class bubbles from 4th July

A thought has just occurred to me. My child is off at the moment as his bubble is full - year 6. There are no other bubbles in the school that can fit him in.

Do the changes mean that school would be allowed to accept one more child for the last couple of weeks? He's really sad not to be able to join his class and say goodbye (class of 32 and two full bubbles).

Sorry what? His school allowed 30 of 32 children back? How did your son miss out?

And no, todays announcement doesn't change anything with regards to schools.

Oh that is desperately sad, your poor son. It's dreadful for two kids to be left out like that. Unfortunately I don't think the new guidelines change anything.

I suppose it's because they perceive him and the other person as being cared for really well and not as needy. No Idea to be honest. Ask them Hmm

Have you asked how they decided who would get a place and who wouldn't? I can't imagine our school doing that. Or any for that matter. Seems cruel and frankly bonkers. I don't think the new rule changes anything as I understand if you SD at 1m you need to wear a mask or take other measures. Schools staff and kids aren't wearing masks.
