Hi everyone,

My partner has showed symptoms and we've had to undergo a test yesterday for coronavirus...

How long does it take and if we are positive what is track and trace is like?

Did you send it back via courier?

Just a heads up to remember to register the test when you send it off, my DH forgot!

Luckily he managed to register when he remembered which was about 5 days after the test, results came back negative so didn't have any involve from track and trace.

Yeah we sent it back by courier yesterday. I know I'm inpatient but I just want them back so we know 😔

I forgot to add, I did register them before we did take them. Just wished we had tests like America which took 15 mins.

My husbands was back the 5pm the day after the courier collected. It was negative so no need for tracing

Thanks Aria for letting us know. Ours went back at 8am yesterday but I think we're away from the processing centre. Hope it can come back tomorrow or Wednesday

Oh no. It's very annoying isn't it 😂 I know we've learnt the art of queueing in these times but we all need to know results so we know the next stage x

The courier picked mine up 8am on Thursday last week and I got the results via email on Saturday 2 days later (negative).

Mine arrived in the evening of June 4th
It was done the night of the 5th.
They collected it on the 6th.
Results were in on the 8th

It should come in tomorrow or Wednesday then.

I'm thinking it could be sinusitis going around instead than corona. Only because my nose is blocked and I had a little bit of a headache and I've had it before years ago and it was that. But we will wait and see

Yeah it's come back positive. We've received the notification now. I'm so shocked 😔

At least you know. Hopefully your symptoms will be very mild. How's your DP?

Mine still haven't come back although I'm not expecting to be positive. I only did it because the Zoe app asked me to after logging headache and backache on separate days.

Yeah he is getting better. He will go back to work at the weekend after day 7.

He told his work and he only got an okay and that was it. I hope people can go and buy stuff from shops online now because at least they're protected in ppe and screens etc.
