What little thing is getting you through this?

Little things matter at a time when nothing is normal. What little thing brightens your day and is getting you through this?

Maybe your 'little thing' will be a fantastic new idea for someone else and we can all be cheered up a bit.

My local coffee shop is independently owned. Going there every day gives me a reason to get up and dressed. I was going downhill mentally and its really saved my mental health (that and my GPWink ).

My 7 month old. He is so joyful. Today he spent a good 10 minutes laughing at a light turning on and off!

That DH has worked from home since a week before official lockdown, meaning he has spent so much more time with DD who was born in December.
He's been a great help to me, but seeing how much she loves her daddy is just the best ❤️

Having my lovely two DS’s at home 18 & 17. The birds in my garden. And DH’s cooking, not forgetting a mumsnet fav, our hot tub, it’s awesome.

Looking forward to my DC going back to school in the future(whenever that will be) and I'm planning a day of pure indulgence.
Chocolate, pampering, trashy TV and 6 hours of uninterrupted peace.
I plan this day often at the moment when it's a getting on top of me.

The webcam in a square in a town in Italy where I've holidayed many times, and where DH and I talked about retiring before Brexit probably made that impossible. The tab is always open - I often pause work to check up on them, and I've loved seeing more and more people out and about, the bakers reopening, the teenagers hanging out again, a dog that hates going up steps.

Chocolate.

So jealous of your coffee shop @Northernsoullover

None near me, even Costa and Starbucks which have opened hundreds of chains open have failed to open any near me. Nearest one is delivery only and the delivery zone stops half a mile from my house 😢

Gardening, podcasts, baking and beer.

I feel a bit like I'm clinging on by a thread this week though (two under 3, both terrible sleepers), so I've added wearing maniacally bright leggings into the mix.
