I am not all that surprised

I was more surprised when they rescheduled the cancelled March operation to June

But I’m also a bit gutted

I’ve been waiting 2 years 😭

They couldn’t give any indication of when it might be booked in for again

No real question here. Just a mournful vent

Sympathies. It's bad enough having to psych yourself up to face having to have an operation, and so much worse when just as you think it'll soon be over the goal posts get moved again.

I’m waiting for 2 surgeries bladder and shoulder
Shoulder pain becoming unbearable and been told I will have to wait a year
Bladder problems mean I struggle to leave house for long and may have to give up my job - even told it could be up to 2 years! I should have had op in March now can’t even get to speak to hospital

Sorry, Rebel. Makes me wonder "what" they were "Saving the NHS" for.

We now have a NCS national coronavirus service. Tough luck if you have anything else. Sadly the coming depression isn't really going to improve matters. At least a lot of 85 year olds live to be 86.

I’m in same boat - tests that were urgent in October last year, GP said postponed indefinitely . Said maybe get done before Christmas but no guarantee . Also said delay means that the problems that were there before, will be a hundred times worse and ?looking at major surgery now . Gutted and very frustrated . Told I can’t get any advice, as GP doesn’t know enough re illness, treatment plan is about 4 years out of date and specialist nursing services all redeployed to corona .

10 million on waiting lists by the end of the year. Increased cancer, diabetes, asthma, ischaemic heart disease & stoke, sepsis, meningitis and appendicitis deaths ... clap for them all.

Have all the ones who died in care homes been reincarnated. If you know of some biblical miracles like resurrections...........please do tell.

Yeah, we lost some. But saved loads apparently. It's all worth it, right, every life matters. Let's keep lockdown going a few more years and save more lives. There's no price you can put on human life. If it's covid.

I'm so sorry, Rebel. I hope you are not too uncomfortable and that you are rescheduled as a priority when there is some 'normality'.
