Actual size of a bubble?

My DCs are due back at school next week. The bubbles are of 15 people max. All good? But then I thought about it like this? 2 kids in 2 bubbles is a contact With up to 30 families.

So if the average is 4 people in a household we will have opened ourselves up to contact with 120 people.

Is this really a good idea when contract tracing is not really happening?

But it's more than that. My yr1 child is one of 15 children in their bubble, plus 2 adults, plus a lunchtime supervisor. So that's 18.
My other 2 children will be in bubbles with children who have siblings in other years and even other schools.
It's never going to be perfect but you've got to restrict contact some how, and this seems to be the best option currently.

Yup-I have three children and am a teacher in a different bubble. That’s a lot of cross contamination!

It’s not ideal but is damage limitation, I guess.

Plus the head and senior leadership team will be in and out of bubbles.

I feel that as long as vulnerable people aren't forced to work and return to education, it isn't an issue.

Education needs to start up again.
