No she didn't just said he was now covid free but it has effected his body from his head to his toes and they are sure of he recover. She was so brave but I guess as things move in she is still stuck in a living nightmare like many others.

Being ventilated and immobile is very hard on the body. Neurological damage from ARDS is variable and can take up to 2 years to fully ascertain what is permanent. He’ll need very intensive rehab, I think he’s been ventilated for 2-3 months. He’s quite young too. :(

His case is so sad. No underlying but at the max end of severe.. thankfully, she did say doctors have only seen a tiny handful of patients like him. No comfort to her though obviously Sad

You wonder why the virus took hold of him so badly.. she also had Corona but very mildly. You assume they’ve got it from each other, so you can rule out him getting a worse strain.. and yet Kate & the kids were fine. I guess maybe viral load or maybe it’s literally just luck how your body responds? I always go back to an old school friend whose child came extremely close to dying from chicken pox. It was horrible. Kid was in intensive care for weeks. Yet my daughter got about 20 spots & was barely ill!

Sending love & best wishes to Kate, I so hope he is OK 🙏🏼

Yes my heart goes out to her. She was out on her steps every Thursday night clapping. I suppose we all relate to staying strong for our kids but she’s being so, so strong. She knows her kids will have heard the details of his condition so must be being honest with them. Terribly sad. Wishing her strength.

My goodness, terrible times for her, can't quite believe how ill her husband is. Made me appreciate mine!
