Would it be wrong to pay with vouchers when/if salons reopen in July?

I was given some beauty vouchers by family for my birthday last year. I'd been saving them mostly as wanted to use them for summer events. I do still have a few months left on them even from July.

I provisionally booked an appointment for early July for a couple of things when salon is hoping to be open but now I feel very guilty as planning to use vouchers for it. I thought it would be a lovely treat after a worrying early pregnancy and would feel safer going now than later in the year when I'm due second DC

Should I cancel to leave room for a paying customer? Or use some vouchers and then pay a small proportion? I can't really afford the appointments otherwise. The vouchers were purchased from the salon itself so they can't claim it back from a company like with garden centre vouchers

It is a local group of four salons and they have always seemed very successful but I guess they are relying on the early cash flow so perhaps it's selfish of me to go in as soon as they open and not give them any money

Wwyd?

If they do hair I'm sure they'll be rammed when they open.
I think you should use the voucher. It was paid for so you have paid in that sense. If you can't afford it otherwise then you can't pay anyway.

I understand your dilemma, but it has been paid for. Maybe just check when booking 'is it ok to book an appointment to use some vouchers?'

Why not they are paid for.
I gave my mother £50 of vouchers for her local hairdresser, she usually goes once a month. I hope she doesn't get bumped for another cash client, I already gave them cash for the vouchers.
