Covid

Does it sound like I have Covid 19?

Felt I had a chill yesterday as I kept having to nip to the loo. Last night, at bedtime I began to alternate between sweating and shivering with cold. Went to bed but woke up at 6am with a temp of 39. I vomited(bile). I phoned 111 as I'm very vulnerable. The dr was great, said it could be Covid but could just be a bug. I've been drinking water and tea, dh has just made a a slice of toast which I ate. I've been in bed all day really exhsusted. My temp hasn't been back up to 39, currently 37.1 so coming down. Myself,dh and ds are receiving testing kits in the next day or 2. Does this sound like Covid? Gutted because my mum is 80 tomorrow and I can't even see her from a distance now.

Yes, dr mentioned uti but don't you need to have burning and stinging with that? No running to the loo today either.

It could literally be anything so until you know from the test no one on here can help you.

Well I mean it could be Covid it could be anything else. No one on MN can tell you that.

Just wait for the results of your tests and isolate till then.

I had something similar recently and was tested, but it was negative. So, it might be something else. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you @HotWatBot. Myself, dh and ds have just taken the test. Feeling lots better today so hopefully will be negative.

does not sound like a uti

i'd go for it being a bug, but as things stand you'll only know when test is done.
