I feel desperately low.

Please be kind. I am sat here in floods of tears.

I just hate what had happened to our country/the world. People snitching on each other, people terrified of each other, even more political arguments than Brexit, the divide and break up of families (I cannot see a point where I will see my parents again due to their terror). All my children's education being fucked up, businesses folding , unemployment, other health problems being ignored or on hold. The despicable behaviour of the media..Not to mention the virus itself.

I feel like I want to run away. To get off the world. But I can't.

I felt a slight feeling of hope in recent days, things seemed to be a little more hopeful. Now I've seen the hysteria about Weston hospital 'closing down' and the lockdown enthusiasts jumping on this as a reason we need to be locked down forever more. I am terrified this is going to start a social.media hysteria and a harder lockdown starting.

I am feeling desperately low. Please be kind.

Lockdown will ease off in the coming weeks and months. The economy has to get back.

Stay off the news sites, sit in your garden if you're lucky enough to have one and read a trashy novel. Do a workout dvd. Perhaps have one or two glasses of wine or nice tipple. Watch a film. Have a bath with any beauty treatments you have lying around. Distract distract distract in other words There are days I do this when I reach saturation point with all the speculation.

You need to step away from social media and the news for a while.

Do you have a history of depression or anxiety? If so then please give your Gp a call in the morning.
