The footage of Dominic Cummings leaving no 10 earlier this afternoon. He is absolutely SMIRKING.

When is BoJo going to realise that he's fooling no-one with his 'he acted responsibly'. DC broke the rules. We all know that.

I don't like what's happened but I didn't see him smirking.

He is definitely smirking!

People are seeing what they want to see. I watched him, he looked embarrassed and wanting to get away from people firing questions at him, and taking photographs. Who wouldn't?

It's over now, there are far more important issues going on to be outraged about instead of one man.

It is not "over now", as much as the government wants it to be.

People are pissed off and they have every right to be.

The actions of this one man impacts on us all. There are now people who think they can do whatever they like and it doesn’t matter, because if the government can do it then so can we. This has potential consequences for us all. Those of us who have done what we were asked to do are left feeling like we are expected to do but the government don’t have to. The ‘we’re all in this together’ message has long gone and we are now not fighting this together. If this causes a rise in the infection and death rates then it impacts on us all in many different ways. Boris Johnson was tested and he failed, his does not understand the public and he has lost any confidence held in him. We are in trouble now

Completely agree @twinnywinny14.

This behaviour and Boris going along with it is insulting towards everyone who has been abiding by the "rules" at huge personal cost.
Together with the absolute disastrous incompetence already demonstrated by this government, it shows that Boris Johnson is unfit for office.
I don't agree with how the government has handled this pandemic, but that isn't the point. It is the having one rule for the elite and another for the rest of us that is unacceptable.

@Lynda07 ok... Doesn't particularly matter in the scheme of things whether he was smirking at that one moment in time (personally I think he was and you're just seeing what you want to see) but you're completely deluded if you think this is just a minor blip that has absolutely no bearing on how everyone else is feeling right now.

We are in trouble now

Boris Johnson has been a high-profile figure for over twenty years and it's only now that his actions lead you to think this? Confused
