... and if they don’t get a handle on it very quickly it will be a shitshow free-for-all. Whatever people think of lockdown this can’t be a good thing.

Boris wants to be the next Churchill, but he’s showing the leadership qualities of a turnip.

When did they have control?

Is anyone actually surprised?

It’s just a shame they’ve killed tens of thousands of people along the way.

I’m not even sure you wrote that with a straight face. The government killed people.

Righto,

The Gov never had control.
Lockdown was called after media pressure.
A virus is not something the Gov CAN control.
After a lot of thought, I have come to the conclusion, that a lockdown is only worthwhile if the area/country already HAS the virus, and the purpose is to prevent it getting out. But lockdown if everywhere else has the virus, to prevent it getting IN is pointless, as you can't keep people locked up forever

Righto

Their actions or lack of have killed people...., a lockdown 2 weeks earlier would have restricted our death rate to 25% of what it is now.
Releasing patients to care homes has killed 1000s of the most vulnerable.... done to protect the public from seeing the NHS "overwhelmed"

So yes, they are not in control and have caused unnecessary deaths.

Of course the incompetence of this govt has led to the unnecessary deaths of tens of thousands of people.

They’ve been on the back foot all the way through this crisis. Never in control, always playing catch-up.

They are such arrogant wankers they think they are special, you see, they are in the process of “making Britain great again” and “taking back control”. Many knew it would end in disaster but thought it would just be an economic one, unfortunately it’s much more serious than that.

According to the Sunday Times today Boris is indeed worried that he will be just like Churchill, who lost the first election after the war to Attlee.

The incompetence of the governments actions in the lead up to lockdown has caused unnecessary deaths. Is that easier to understand?
