I just want to show off what I've achieved. Painted my DS room.

Anyone else do something they are proud of?

I finished the wallpapering that was started 11 months ago!

That's lovely OP, really well done.

I haven't done anything different as I've been working full time from home. I'm enjoying it though as it gives me an extra hour in bed in the morning Smile

Aww looks lush OP! Smile

Me, my husband and our 3yo boy took over a really neglected plot at the local allotment and we've been slaving away for the past month and it's starting to look ace. GrinWe only meant to clear a third of it, but we've pretty much cleared the whole plot and planted a load of vegetables and berries and all sorts of goodness. Really hoping we'll get some tasty veg out of it! It's been hard work but I'm so pleased with what we've done so far.

OP that is really fantastic! Well done. It looks so artistic!

I haven't done anything as fancy as you but I'm in the middle of redecorating spare bedroom number 2 of this lockdown. DH is delighted. He does the prep and then fits the chrome switch plates when I'm all done painting. I'm hoping we can loose the remaining moving boxes before we've been here 3 years in the autumn, it's been a slow process! 😂

Aw it all sounds so wonderful. We moved in nearly 2 years ago and only painting now 😂 my 1st time painting like that so I'm pleased with how it came out and was easier than I thought. We are also tackling the garden knocked down the old shed and sorting out the bushes. Waiting for nice wether to finish it off.

OP, that looks so good. Well done!
My DS wants something similar for his room, what kind of paint did you use for the orcas, jellyfish etc?

As for me, my biggest achievement in lockdown has been to relax and slow down. To actually slow my heart rate for the first time in years (got 3 primary age DC, one of whom was very poorly a couple of years ago and needed a transplant plus I homeschool them all).

I’ve also baked and cooked a lot, got the garden looking lovely and decluttered many areas.

@fedupfrida (hopefully tag worked) the paint is just plain acrylic paint. I changed the size of an image I got off google printed it and cut it out. Then i drew round it then just painted it.

That's neat.
I did a bit of work in the garden, but nowhere near as much as I wanted. All my time and energy got sucked into juggling between WFH and home schooling Confused

Im hating the home schooling atm. The room took me about 4 weeks do to with the baby and the toddler and the eldest schoolwork

Learning to trade shares. It’s been fruitful.

Exciting stuff. Lovely to hear some good news amongst the doom. Even if it's something small as long as you are proud you've achieved it then it's worth it. Cant wait for the rubbish tips to be open again it's starting to pile up.

@NoRoomInBed
Thanks for the that.

I’m with you on the tip and charity shops opening. Although I’m concerned they are going to be overwhelmed with everyone’s cr*p so I’ve just signed up to Freecycle. Managing to give stuff away by leaving it out at the end of the drive for people who want it. It’s amazing what people will take.

Those are lovely, OP!

TBH, I've not really achieved much.

I've successfully weaned my hair completely off shampoo. That's sort of an achievement, I guess.

Also, I've put on a massive amount of weight. Also kind of an achievement for someone with my naturally high metabolism - albeit not a particularly welcome one.
