Annemarie Plans, the founder, thinks so... I agree - in fact I stopped a few weeks back.

I agree. It's died down near us but I think it was time stop after the peak to be honest.

Please. People round here are banging pots and setting off fireworks. My cat has spent every Thursday shaking under the bed and not coming out for hours.

We were the only ones out yesterday, although I could hear some clapping. I think now that this has been said, it will probably stop.

I think so, tell people it’s the last one so they can come out and join in, going out with lots of people joining in instead of less and less people joining in each week.

Yes it needs to end. Everyones kids keep getting woken up and it's a nightmare for parents of young children trying to settle them after all the chaos. It's not just clapping it's fireworks and car horns and loud music.
