Just that really, I know it’s a guessing game and no one knows what’s going to happen next but do you think there is likely to be another one? Will you be preparing at all in case there is? And is there anything you would do differently from what you’ve done in this lockdown?

Already looking at birthdays and starting to think about Xmas, hoping to get most bits for Xmas a bit earlier than normal in case were on lockdown again by then.

Finally managed to order a pair of hair clippers so will be ok in that respect next time round!

Other than that, had been prepping abit for brexit so Was mostly prepared anyway.

What about you?

We don't have anymore birthdays till late summer but yes, will probably start thinking about prepping for those and for Christmas soon too.

We bought a printer last week to prepare for longer off school, as it was a bit of a nightmare trying to do home learning without a printer, I think we may order some more exercise books too.

Yes. We'll stay prepared to stay home for 4 weeks at any time. DH is vulnerable but not shielding, so we sort it all out for ourselves. Before autumn we need a little more in our rolling stock of long life milk and bread, some extra freezer veg too. We usually keep plenty of tins, rice, pasta and other freezer stuff too, so no change in that. I'm not worried about hand wash / loo roll etc as those supply issues were short term and fixed anyway. Everything else we can go without as needed.

Yes. I would imagine anyone who has sufficient resources to prepare will do so as we face another 18 - 24 months of this -- plus bloody BREXIT!

Yes, I have my eldest's 18th birthday in October (she has ASD and only wanted to go to sealife and see the illuminations in blackpool so we had planned a trip for a couple of days but don't think that is going to happen now). And want to get Christmas sorted early and have my youngest's 6th birthday at the beginning of January (I want to make sure these are sorted well in advance just in case). I will be making sure the house is sorted for winter (we are having issues with the gas central heating and radiators but will wait until things hopefully drop (deaths/infections) before we get someone to fix it (we have vulnerable - not shielding - people in the house).

I am also adding an extra item or two of things that can be stored into each shop and creating space so that we can get a chest freezer in the house (our house is really tiny).

No. I didn't do anything to prep before lockdown and have managed to get everything I need since. I will probably try and save a bit of extra money but that's it.

Ever since the petrol strike years ago when the DC were little we have made sure that we have at least 2 weeks of supplies in the house. In the run up to Brexit we increased it to 4 weeks worth. So when C19 hit we had sufficient.

I will probably try to keep a reserve of 4 weeks in case we have to self isolate. We only buy stuff we actually use.

Things I wished I had bought:

Deep sized freezer
5,000 trash bags
100 bottles of shampoo
Batteries, AA, AAA, and the ones for the smoke alarm that keep going off Hmm

Not prepping for another lockdown but I will gradually start building up my no-deal Brexit stockpile again, so it can be used for either scenario.
