Does anyone know anything about jet2 holidays

I had booked my first holiday abroad in 18 years for august with jet2. I want to change my holiday to next year now and I was just wondering if anyone knew how I can do this? Can I just email them and ask to change? I don’t mind having to pay more etc I just want to change it.
Oh just to add I have paid all of the holiday off bar one small payment as I have been paying it off monthly since august last year.
Please can anyone advise what I need to do?

They haven't responded to my emails so good luck! Have used them before and they were great but clearly the volume of enquiries they are getting is overwhelming them. Good luck!

Thankyou, I presume there working through emails in travel date order? Do I need to just email them and ask them to change my date?

I was due to travel this Saturday and got an email a few weeks back to say if I wanted to change my holiday, I could log into 'manage my booking' and do it online.

If I wanted a refund, I needed to wait for then to contact me. They contacted me last week and I've had a full refund now.

I'm pretty sure that they are working through them in departure date order.

From reading people's experiences here, Jet2 seem to be fairing well with customers and helping. I cancelled my holiday with them last week and lost the deposit, but I could do it through my booking online and didn't need to speak to them, have you tried logging in to your Jet2 holiday account and seeing if that's an option?

My son has had a holiday in June cancelled by them and they called him pretty quickly to talk through his options, he asked for a refund and the money was in his bank a few days later.

Seeing as your holiday isn’t yet cancelled though just log in and see if there’s a way to change it, if not perhaps email or use Twitter to contact them.

I messaged them about 4 weeks ago to ask the same. Waiting for them to ring and have been for weeks now....July holiday.

They have a whole coronavirius section on their website, so the best thing to do is have a read through that.

You will be able to change your booking to next year, I think it involves filling in an online form and they will confirm by email or maybe phone you if needed.

It might not happen quickly as they are working through everything in date order and obviously have people with holidays booked in the next few days and weeks to sort first including May half term.

We had a flight only booking with them in April and were offered a date change, voucher or refund and took the refund as we don't know when or where we want to go next or when we'll be able to. It came through quite quickly, so yes, a big gold star to how well Jet2 are dealing with all this, I don't work for them honestly, just a happy long term customer.

I have had a similar experience, their customer service was excellent and my refund came through very quickly. It just took ages for them to respond to initial contact, which is understandable.

Thanks for all your replies, I can’t do it when I log in as my holiday is still going ahead, when I click on cancel my holiday it just tells me to email them! I have sent them an email
Today but agree there probably putting them into date order.
I have to agree though jet2 have always been so helpful, I accidentally paid my whole holiday off instead of just a monthly payment I had been making and I rang them and they had refunded it within two days!

Just wanted to update on this, the jet2 phone lines are back open as of today and I called this morning, changed holiday to next year, although there was a £160 charge as they are still scheduled to be flying out in august. However the lady who answered my call was so helpful and just really good! Brilliant customer service from jet2!

Sorry just to clarify it is £40 per person to change booking.

Glad you got it sorted. I’ve always found them to go above and beyond without me having to nag them if that makes sense? Eg had to book last two seats on a flight for my son (age 3) and I, opposite ends of the plane, and before I had chance to call them to sort it they’d emailed me to tell me to check in at the airport, no charge, and they jiggled seats so we could sit together.

Enjoy the anticipation and buildup to your holiday!
