Why can't he just answer a question straight?
And also if you have children did he just suggest you tell your employer and stay home? That is not going to go down well!

Waffle waffle....can’t answer a question with an answer.

This is horrendously bad.

He didn't answer the question about whether more children will now be able to go to school if their parents go back to work, he dodged the point of the mans question completely.

His question from Pooja, Chris Whitty answered it correctly, pretty much that the advise on what must be shut hasn’t changed, however Boris waffled for 5 mins going nowhere near the answer.

Ring your employer ....

Don't crowd on public transport ...

Is he sane? Does he live in a parallel universe?

He is so unbearably incompetent. Raab was much clearer. This is unfathomable.

He's actually painful to watch.

Not a Tory - but I've been much more impressed by Dominic Raab's performances as he always seems to answer the questions rather than prevaricate.

It's like nailing jelly to the wall.

Now he's waffling on about people being 2 metres apart on public transport - the tube was packed this morning. It clearly can't accommodate social distancing so what does that mean for people who have to use it?

What a fecking embarrassment, this is our PM what a buffoon.
God only knows what other countries think when they see him spouting absolute waffle.

Did Vallance and Witty sign off the change from 'Stay Home' to 'Stay Alert'?

Johnson strongly implied Yes in Parliament earlier (responding to Sir Ed Davey); Vallance just strongly implied No.

Trump is an awful president and his speeches are full of crap, but at least they are clear. Boris though is just something else, he just can not communicate his point.

We will reopen the pubs at the earliest 4th july. At the latest we will open the pubs on 4th july. You can meet people one on one. You can meet other people outside. You can meet one other person. Stay at home if possible. You can exercise as much as you want. Go to work if you can't work from home this week. If you can't work from home but haven't got childcare schools wont reopen until at least 1st June but go to work if you can't work from home. You can now exercise as much as you want. From Wednesday you can go outside as much as you want...

I dont know what you lot are finding so hard to follow myself.

'Achieve a virus'. I almost feel bad for him, he looks truly defeated. I can barely understand what he's saying.

The difference watching Keir Starmer speak - doesn't take a genius to work out who people are going to have more faith in!
