Getting the test results

Hi. I had a test 7 days ago. Still no results. I ring up today so they can escalate it which they have but they also said to go and have another test done which I've just had this afternoon.

At the test site it said to register the barcode on the white card before the end of the day to make sure you get the results within 48 hours. There were signs around saying this too but I can't find anywhere to do it online.

My questions are; did you have the test then just drove off getting the results 48 hours later? or did you have to input your barcode before you left the test site on your phone so you could get your test results within 48 hours? TIA

I was texted 48 hours later. Didn't need to put in barcode because I'd already registered online (when I booked the test) and the test was linked to my profile because of that.

I had the test last Monday and didn’t do anything with the spare barcode or the receipt card I was given nor were the any signs to say I needed to. Was expecting results within 48 hours and was going to ring today if I hadn’t heard anything.

Test came back yesterday though as positive.

Thanks. I’m struggling with anxiety over it today and a lot of paranoia but have fortunately so far only had mild symptoms. No cough at all and apart from a couple of days of night sweats and one morning feeling very shivery no obvious fever. Everything crossed this is as bad as it gets.

Not sure whether location makes any difference but had my test in Guildford.

Hey,my partner is still waiting,we had ours down Thurs. I was the one who registered us and I got mine through. But he hasn't. Have we done something wrong?
