**Football Fans** Season restart concerns - Brighton

So, Paul Barber is back in the news today stating that restarting the season to early/at all, even behind closed doors could be catastrophic. BHA have been very vocal over the restart. Barber and Glenn Murray in particular have mentioned the pitfalls of having neutral grounds etc and how it could effect results, and pushing the point that (some, idiotic) fans would just turn up at grounds anyways. Whilst I'm not doubting their intentions towards not wanting to spread the virus, for BHA in particular its smacking of "shit, we could be relegated if this goes ahead". I personally think they are trying to push for complete abandonment of the season with no relegations. None of the top end/safe clubs seem to be wading in on the subject.

If they can maintain safety I would like the season to restart. DH is a BHA ST holder and he is torn.

Thoughts?

They are worried about being relegated for sure. And they should be.

I see Dresden have had to postpone their first game already due to the whole team having to isolate for 14 days.

Football only thinks about £££

I've just seen a third player has tested positive at BHA.

Just void it....look at Germany one of their teams is having to isolate and they were meant to be restarting.
Trying to get it done is silly. All it takes is one postive case..and plus it wont just be the teams playing involved if it's on telly. Be ground keepers as well etc

I'm a Villa fan, Our Chairman has rightly pointed out that most of our risible number of points have come at home. It's also going to look odd. So the Amex is a neutral ground, then presumably Brighton can't play there and have to go to, say, Old Trafford. Crazy. Just write this season off, leave everyone where they are (yes, ok, I have a horse in this relegation race), and go again next year,
