Do we think it is likely to be extended beyond current end of June date .

Am thinking may need to start drooping hints to my children who are both in the extremely vulnerable group. As a side note why do a lot of people think it's only elderley in this group

Am also concerned for them and the fact that even come September that they won't likely be able to extend school even my son who be going into y11

I think we'll roughly follow Ireland's guidance and shielders will be allowed out for exercise and to see family.

Keeping shielders locked down until there's a treatment or vaccine isn't realistic - the three shielders I know are all relatively fit and well, and importantly, all work full time and have children who will be expected to attend school in the autumn.

My dh didn't get his shield letter at the start of this. His letter stated to shield for 12 weeks from receipt of letter which takes him to mid July.
I'm shielding with him so we can live a normal life at home and we are getting home deliveries, delivered prescriptions etc. I think of told ok to go out , we would but only for our of the way walks, we certainly wouldn't be taking ourselves off to any open places suggested could open ( garden centres, cafe gardens etc )

Div

Is there a link to find out about Ireland please

My daughter is immune suppressed my son has inherited metabolic and severe respiratory issues be nice if they be allowed out for a walk but also don't want to expose them to it as know would not end well if either caught it
