My elderly aunt has an Asda due for delivery tomorrow and has asked me if they deliver in bags? I’m not sure if they do - anyone know?

Thanks

Yes, they have to us. In disintegrating thin bags though - not bags for life

They didn’t with my order last week, just brought it to the door in crates.

Yep, central London here and all in bags. They wont come inside though or take anything back. She will have to collect the bags from the crate and take inside herself.

I've just been amending my order and it said when I was checking it out that they don't supply single use carrier bags anymore. So surprised to hear someone say otherwise. I've got a big order coming on the weekend which will be a pain to unload with no bags.

We’ve had two click and collect orders from Asda now. The e-mails/texts from them all said to bring bags, but the first time we collected our order, it was all bagged. We went again on Sunday, and we had to use our own bags.

They did with mine last week.
The driver was also wearing gloves.

My orders have all came in thin bags despite saying online while ordering that they don't supply them. Some bags also only had one item in

Ours have bags. They are thin white ones.

Mine came in thin blue bags, we've had two deliveries from Asda.

Also Tesco do too, theirs are bags for life. I now have a gazillion carrier bags after spending the last 5 years never using a plastic bags!

Ours used to be bags, but are now in crates again. If you say you're self isolating, it should come in bags (we had an order yesterday).

Depends on the driver.

They stopped delivering in bags about a year ago and then re introduced bags as part of the Covid measures - this is on their website somewhere. Often I collect or hav shopping delivered and it is bagged at the point of drop off so not packed before going into crates. Other times they have ran out of bags.

Also, the notice about no longer packing in bags has been on there for a long time and hasn't changed during Covid - it's from when they stopped for environmental reasons.

I've had no bags, then bags and then part bags in the last 3 deliveries 🤷🏻‍♀️
