Can anyone who has had it please give me a bit of an idea about the timeline, symptoms and how long it took to recover? Family member has been ill for 2 weeks now and I'm a little worried they are not improving. They are not getting any worse either but I'm still worried.

My daughter who is 12 had a mild fever with no other symptoms for 5 weeks. She then was put on antibiotics just in case and the fever went - whether that was coincidental or not, I don't know.

Am 9 weeks in..recovery can take a long time. Temperature and fluey symptoms have long gone, but am left with shortness of breath, chest pain and tightness and quite bad fatigue (I do have asthma and other conditions) My GP was not overly surprised I was still struggling when I spoke to him this morning. Initial period of symptoms I would say lasted about 5 weeks but were very up and down with weeks 2 and 3 being the worst.

DS 12 was first, persistent cough, temperature, chest tightness, breathless, headaches, etc it took him 4 1/2 weeks to recover
DD 9 milder than DS all the same symptoms but no cough, 5 weeks on still has mild temperature and thighs chest and headaches, she can’t seem to shift it.
Me, 3 weeks start to finish same symptoms as DS, no cough, but loss of taste/smell
DH no symptoms
