Employer ending furlough notice

Hey,

I received an email last week from work saying I am being furloughed until the end of May and that they will contact me that week to tell me when in June I go back. My boss has just text me and said can I come into work next week.
I’m not bothered, actually looking forward to going back to work as I’m so bored. But how does this now work.
I do have a lot of questions they are till yet to answer. Is it just next week ? Am I going to be paid properly? How much notice do they have to give for me to return to work ?

Anyone had anything similar?

Some companies are doing three weeks furlough, three back in and three furlough again and continuing like that. DS has just done 3 weeks furlough so my understanding is the company will be in touch this week.

Copy your boss into the furlough email, plus whoever sent it, and ask them to clarify if you're going back next week or 1st June. They don't have to give you notice, you're getting furlough pay as an alternative to work, it isn't an entitlement to holiday. If you have an issue such as childcare then that's a separate discussion.

Furlough has to be for a minimum 3 week period. So it will depend form which date your furlough starts.

Ours said three days notice to go back but I don’t know if that was just our company or the scheme as a whole.

Furlough has to be for a minimum three weeks.

Mine have given me a weeks notice to go back but the childcare is proving a nightmare (even though DH a keyworker)
