Flatmate having people round

Any advice on what my poor niece can do in this situation please?

She is in a flat share and the other girl keeps having people round and someone has just arrived to stay, for god knows how long.

They have zero relationship left after a difficult 6 months, they aren't compatible flatmates at all. Talking to her would get her nowhere.

Contact doesn't run out until August, she has spent the last month hiding in her bedroom.

She could report it to the police. Chances are that would stop the visitors. But obviously it wouldn't help flatmate relations.

Might put her health at less risk though.
