Why are Royal Mail agreeing to deliver poisonous propaganda

At any time, let alone when their service is currently so abysmal.

I do not wish to receive disgusting American propaganda delivered by the postman - but I expect RM have been paid well enough to deliver it.

Does our mail service have no standards?

What has this leaflet got to do with the postal service?

You got that from your postie? Yes, that's very disturbing. What part of the country OP? And who's it published by/who does it originate from?

Who is that from?

The standards of Royal Mail are that someonepays to post an item, they deliver it. Censorship does not exist.

Delivered under a Royal Mail account today.

It's a 32 page magazine (not wrapped) and addressed to 'the occupier' at my address.

I had one of these delivered today. It was addressed to The Occupier. Like you I was pretty horrified by the content.

The account manager at RM should be fucking fired for this.

What makes you think it is propaganda? You assume that by default?

It's no trouble for you to bin it. If you want censorship move to North Korea

Citipost is a bulk mailing service that gets bulk discounts on postage.

Why? No one at Royal Mail reads anytHing that they deliver

It’s not up the Royal Mail to decide what should and shouldn’t be posted.
I agree that what you have received there looks like dreadful shite but if someone puts something in an envelope and then into the post it, won’t be and never should be, up to the Royal Mail to decide if they should deliver it or not.

Jesus that's quite disturbing!

It appears to be an Epoch Times publication. Was it addressed to you directly? Looks more like a subscriber thing than bulk mail.

OP you have sympathy for the CCP?

We received that today too!!! Perhaps we should post them all back to Epoch Times (address is handily on the same page that your address is).

I don't know why it's so shocking anyway. If you go to youtube you can find lots of channels blaming China. And others blaming secret lizards, Queen Elizabeth, The Freemasons and Bill Gates. The idea of people making stuff up can't be that new to you surely?

Looking at it again this does not seem to be a drop of adverts (like for example the Dominos menus) by RM it has a sort of postage paid stamp and is addressed to my property (unlike the RM drops). So I don't think RM can be held responsible for simply delivering addressed and paid for mail (they can't vet everything posted!). The question is more - why on earth is this organisation sending out propaganda now and who are they targeting?

The Royal Mail have simply delivered this, they won’t know what’s in this envelope or any other envelope they deliver. Get over it

Unless I've read it wrong, I don't think it was in an envelope.

And saying 'get over it' isn't really a very intelligent response to propaganda like this.

Googling it, it appears to be a far right wing International newspaper that you can have delivered on subscription. You could contact them and say that you are on their mailing list by mistake and want to have your data removed. Royal Mail have nothing to do with that and don’t control or restrict what they choose to deliver.

@MrsFogi this might interest you. I was googling to find out where this comes from and I found this article from Nov 2019 saying that people in Colorado were being targeted with Epoch Times magazines through the post.
www.coloradoindependent.com/2019/11/15/colorado-local-news-media-robots-epoch-times/

It sounds like they are now doing the same to others including you and @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats, I wonder what you have in common that makes you targeted?

Thighmageddon "Get over it" is a very intelligent response to someone complaining that Royal Mail 'allowed' it.
